Background: Hypertension is a chronic disorder characterized by persistently elevated arterial blood pressure, including increased diastolic pressure. Telmisartan and cilnidipine are commonly prescribed antihypertensive drugs used in its management. This is a comparative review of antihypertensive drugs telmisartan and cilnidipine. It also includes a comparison of the reported analytical methods of telmisartan and cilnidipine. The review is to provide a detailed comparison of these drugs in terms of their pharmacological properties and therapeutic effects.
